"skit style humor" "gameplay is a MASSIVE secondary"

so you are going to be cracking jokes half of the time as phil and half of the time dressed as ghostface?

hm.

i cant say the hype is getting to me at this point.

the script is everything. if the jokes are good and if the delivery is good, it will work. if not...

damn i miss john rambo, he had the delivery, he had the presence, he was a natural.

You should consider doing a Seinfeld esque type of show that incorporates you having standup comedy skits that either poke fun of something or has genuine jokes to it for a segment per show. Maybe even incorporate that brilliant Pavarotti-esque singing voice of yours in an episode.

You should implement some from of comedy with your haters like have the patreons submit videos of talking shit or something and how they are stalkers and would rather spend their entire life following you everywhere to be negative instead of just ignoring you or something idk just a thought to work around somehow thoughts?

Anyone know what the original theme was from his Project 7 series? Where did that music track come from?

(nevermind, would've been nice to have)

Finished the Project 7 promo so I'll upload it in a couple hours. It's not bad.

Pretty sure Phil has all of the video and sound files - ask him to borrow it for promotional marketing? I don't see why he wouldn't give it to you :)

This is second Friday now he was supposed to work on Project 7, but have done something else last minute without a warning.

I'm not sure how long the street fighter 5 beta is supposed to last for but I can bet anything that he will be playing it a lot now. So that means he may not work on Project 7 for a bit. Wasn't he supposed to have a teaser for it soon?

Well he did just drop everything to play the SFV beta. I dunno man he could of worked on it today instead of playing the beta.

Yeah, but I can forgive him for that since he lost around 1.5 streams due to the beta not working before. So I don't mind him doing that shorter stream to try to get some matches in. And I really don't think losing 2 hours will affect the Project 7 work that much imo.

That is true so I guess it was okay for this one time. But I do hope he does make some progress on it.

Aren't you breaking Patreon ToS?

No, Patreon ToS requires you to follow through on your perks, which will be fully fulfilled as explained in the video. The goals are nice things to motivate people to pledge but aren't considered "rewards" like the perks are - it's not like Kickstarter where you're promising to deliver a product and have to with goal levels, but it is with perks.

Regardless, the $250 from July's is being redirected to August anyway (again, as explained in the video) so the money isn't being simply pocketed. I'm sure the usual drama-queens will be talking shit for years about this, but overall the Patrons should be happy that the goal levels are lower and easier to hit in August because of this.

All came down to having too much on your plate. This time mismanagement has led to an unfortunate conclusion. In my opinion, including long games such as Fallout New Vegas in the Patreon polling was overambitious, and put you in quite the pickle.  I have seen every episode of both editions of Project 7, and this news does not really phase me. I actually appreciate the desire to release a product you are proud of, Phil. I am more phased by the overwhelming schedule that appears to have become a trap. As I've said before about fan feedback, I think it is pretty useless. Any viewer will ask for anything, and not worry about the consequences on the other end. For every fan suggestion taken, how many more need to be shot down to accommodate the one new addition? While I'm not a Patron and do not know the exact intricacies of what was promised versus what was delivered, postponing Project 7 was a good first step in simplifying matters.

Big picture, people.
