Worst game you ever played

Kingdom Hearts 2

Now before any fans of this game, shake their heads in disbelief, I would like to say that I very rarely buy a video game that I don't end up liking, because I know what I find entertaining in a game.

Here are the reasons why I don't like this game and the series to date in general.

1. The story is boring and very basic, I know some will say well you should play all the spin offs to understand the plot, well I counter this with why should I have to play all the spin offs as well, when square enix instead could make a f*****g effort to do a proper stand alone plot for each kh game, instead of at the time of the original release date selling different kh titles on different console/handhelds in order to nickel and dime fans of the franchise, yes I know you can buy an updated copy of the game including spin offs now, but it doesn't excuse not putting proper effort into a story.

2. The combat is garbage, now I know some will say it's an old game from the early 2000's, I counter with this final fantasy 10 also by square enix was released around the same timeframe and the turn based combat in that was much more integral and fun, heck FF10 part 2 which was imo an average game overall had a more enjoyable combat system than KH2.

3. Over reliance on the Disney brand, It's clear to me that square enix felt like they didn't need to try because of the Disney factor, as I said before they are well capable of putting together an enjoyable rpg as judged by some of the FF titles, but unlike with KH they put proper effort into the story, gameplay, combat, without Disney KH1 and even more so KH2 would be even more of an cack game.

4. Barely any improvement from KH1, yes it has improved visuals which it should as a newer game, aside from that It didn't really improve in anyway.

5. The franchise set a bad president for the "pay extra for whole story" many video games companies have now adopted (FF15 being a recent example), by taking out elements of the story from the initial release and for that square enix can stick a rusty nail in their eyes.

I made the mistake of buying KH2 and had to force myself to finish this boring game, the soundtrack was the only positive thing about this title for me, but I shall not purchase KH3 as I don't trust square enix to put proper effort into it, based on how they have approached the previous series entries, I honestly believe kingdom hearts is one of the most overrated video game franchises ever and that is the end of my rant.

I played King Kong on the gamecube and didn't liked it. Hated that it took so long to play as Kong and didn't like the first person gameplay when your playing as an human. And then, there's Sonic 06. I wanted to like it. It has a decent soundtrack. His world is not a bad theme that I wish was on a better Sonic game but I ultimately agree with the masses that Sonic 06 is where the series hit an low point.

I love King Kong.  That game to me was fun, awesome, and action packed.  Though the game gave me quite a bit of jump scares.

TBH, I never really cared for Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts (even though I love Disney).

im starting to think this is becoming a troll thread, but people do have their opinions.

Don't blame me.  I posted this thread for people to post their opinions.  It's not my fault that assholes can't develop maturity.

More recently it would have to be Super Mario Party. Can only use one joycon to play and the game just feels slow paced and sluggish. My most regrettable game purchase by far.

Mario Party 8 was my favorite Mario Party game. It's a shame to see what the series has come to.

Oh boy worst game I played?

I think Aidyn Chronicles the First Mage. I liked the story despite it being simplistic. However the system they used for stats was pretty crunchy and I could barely grasp what was truly good until hours later into the game. Like Wasteland where you you have all these skills but don't know which skills are actually useful. Plus the game was prone to bugs and crashes. And it was on a cartridge. Oddly enough, I would love to see a remake or a remaster on the Switch or PC.

A game I hated playing with no redeeming value would be Half-Life. Why is it so loved? I know it's a pioneer in many things but you know the playground saying "first is the worst." and to me most first in things tend to be bad in hindsight and Half-life is a textbook example IMO

Didn't know there was a GameBoy version of Batman: The Video Game.

I just found it odd that Batman uses guns in that game. I'm not a Batman expert, but it doesn't seem normal.

Also, I think it might be different than the game you're referring to. I can't remember.

It's ok.  While I am a huge Batman fan, I'm not exactly a expert of the character myself.

Batman uses guns? What the heck? Okay, I'm confused.
