Something happens. He either has an accident, something in a video game fucks him over and he rage quits or like today he is slandered on a massive scale by some Youtuber. Phil will tell you that he regrets alot of the decisions and videos he made early in his Youtube career, (friend ridicule, Tobuscus, mean spirited to other players, etc) which all added to his "radioactive" state today where alot of people know him, but few will collaborate, like, or even mention his name. But it's certainly true that if you've been as controversial as Phil has been in the public, you should expect the consequences to come rushing down. I would only say as a general rule that the worse the reputation you garner, the more likely and frequently you are to be attacked. I have no relation to and know nothing about but 2. insult me for literally no good reason, would have done so regardless. It's not karma, because it's not being done as a way to "get back" at anything I've done in the past. It's that people who have nothing of actual quality/value to offer to viewers, realize that being nasty, negative, insulting and evil on YouTube = views. They're morally corrupt, vile people behind the scenes of their YouTube pages. NONE of them would ever have the balls to say stuff like this to anyone in real life, because they're no-life cowards who have zero notoriety outside of the internet. And they'd get their faces smashed in (not by me, but try saying random nasty shit to someone's face whom you don't know, and see how far you get in life). Until YouTube prevents such activity, it will continue indefinitely, and I'll probably deal with wave after wave of attacks every few months. Honestly, I'm numb to it now. This has only happened about 5000 other times, and as we've seen in the past, it doesn't have any long-term effect. For about a week, every gameplay video that I upload will be spammed with nasty comments and downvoted. Then the mentally challenged followers of said YouTuber (just look at the comments if you think I'm exaggerating) will move on, just like every other time this has happened. I don't care, I'm not going to take any time to address it other than to let my viewers know why comments/dislikes will be this way for about a week. Well you guys are both Youtuber directors,If I feel someone is being janky in the same field I am and if I know their antics either being directly affected or indirectly offended, I will talk about about them in one light or another. Just comes with the territory. I guess with you its really a fact of you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. I've seen bigger youtubers that express themselves intelligently get savagely destroyed just because the youtuber had the audacity to say something slightly negative about their fan's favorite game. Youtube is open to almost anybody so there are viewers that have mental issues that don't require them to be locked up in a mental institution. Was it worth it? I didn't even look that deep into it Phil but after looking back at the Tobuscus situation... This is DEFINITELY BAD KARMA coming back at you.
