I respect your opinion there, actually.

Personally I liked it, but to each their own.

Another anime I dislike is Bleach/One Piece as said above because they've had a good run. lol

thank you for repecting my opinion and I personally like One Piece and Bleach.

Sure One Piece needs to end but I enjoyed it so much that i don't care if it ends or not cause i grew attached to these characters that a little part of me dosen't want it to end

And Bleach I enjoyed it sure the fillers are annoying but a well told story with interesting characters and a awesome lior to it that I enjoyed too

Dude, that sucks. I mean, the whole thing about differing opinions is to share and discuss them. Like, in a couple of days when my head cold is gone I'll be doing some research into why people like SAO. Then watch the series again, and try to see if my opinions about the show are still justified. Then put my findings on my blog for the world to see. I like opening discussions not throwing my opinion out and expecting people to accept it.

The only reason I even made the thread pointing out the flaws of the anime was because there was an entire thread just praising it so I basically made a thread talking about what annoyed me (the romance which everyone seems to think was good I thought it felt really forced)and just how the anime breaks it's own rules(Like how Asuna "dies" but not really cause she's a main character)

Bleach

the fights are ridiculusly bad. they are below average at best, even compared to the most average fights in naruto or onepiece.

the fights are like those stick fights you had in yourchildhood that thought were awesome but even other kids watching you thought it was lame.

the whole anime seems fake, plastic, i cant even watch the movies, there is no tension, no emotion, nothing. the script shows no character progression, nothing, one dimensional garbage.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

My god, where do I begin with this pretentious piece of wanna-be art house garbage?
It follows the story of one Shinji Ikari, a character who we see go from seemingly whiny and unlikable with some less than valid reasons (His relationship with his father interfering with him piloting a robot to, you know, save the world) to by the end of the series and movie.... being whiny and unlikable for some VERY valid reasons (see spoiler tag below)

He masturbates to a comatose Asuka at the beginning of the movie and he HIMSELF even admids "I'm so fucked up".

Add to that a bunch of background characters that ultimately are more interesting and have better stories than our protagonist, despite being some being almost as bad, and already you have no reason to worry about the protagonist. The only redeeming quality are the Evangelions fighting the angels, but to get to that you have to wait through a bunch of pseudo-psychological bullshit that often comes out of nowhere and amounts to someone watching an episode of Twink Peaks and writing a crossover of it and Gundam.

It ultimately is a series that has potential, but not even the inclusion of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 can redeem it.

I'm surprised I said I didn't like SAO and I haven't been flogged for it yet XD.

The manga got boring imo, but what is so bad about AOT? Is it the characters or the overhype? I'll respect your opinion

What's so bad? Dude its a constant fucking depression fest. In every single fucking episode is depression after depression after depression. I understand that its on the Human Survival/Action/Horror stuff but dammit! Even when they try doing something to inspire the characters, they get horrified, and more depression comes. It's annoying as hell. I prefer watching Highschool Of The Dead than AoT. HOTD is a far better Human Survivor/Action/Horror than AoT.

Pretty ironic you should say that, when both of these shows are directed by the same guy XD

But as a fan of AoT, I'll give you the depression part, it does get pretty annoying and it still continues in the manga so there is no avoiding them in S2 lol.
