NK
What's so bad? Dude its a constant fucking depression fest. In every single fucking episode is depression after depression after depression. I understand that its on the Human Survival/Action/Horror stuff but dammit! Even when they try doing something to inspire the characters, they get horrified, and more depression comes. It's annoying as hell. I prefer watching Highschool Of The Dead than AoT. HOTD is a far better Human Survivor/Action/Horror than AoT.Is high school of the dead the series that masquerades as a zombie show but is really a harem anime? I really hate when fan service gets in the way of plot HOTD is overloaded with fan service and really stupid action sequences. I watched the the whole series to see how stupid it could get and it didn't disappoint. I doubled over laughing from one action sequence couldn't believe what I was seeing. I will never forgot how stupid the show was and feel my IQ has lowered because of it.Here's a youtube clip of it so everybody can see where I'm coming from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRTugqDo1WM

BrickArts295
Personally, I though HOTD was a good anime.I thought it was okay, the fan service did get in the way and ruined some of the tension from the first few episode. By the end I pretty much accepted it and watch it for what it was. Still hoping for 2nd season.

NullFox
Still hoping for 2nd season. Manga is taking a bit long so contain your excitement. kill la kill was just meh.A bit too many fillers but I feel it was above average good at the moment. NK
Personally, I though HOTD was a good anime.what was good about it? I feel like all the characters were infinitely dislikable. They were all harem anime stereotypes and had cardboard personalities : little girl, samurai girl, girl next door, older woman etc. Even his two nerd friends are an harem anime cliche. The only thing I feel the series has going for it is it's zombie setting which seems off the wall and events happen that seem kinda random which leads to scenarios you didn't expect. Honestly though, what good is a survivor horror series if I don't care if the main characters live or die? Attack on Titans is better hands down because I care who lives or dies. There are also some real moments in it that are very touching/sad. When they come home losers at the end of that hunt you really feel it. I don't think HOTD is capable of invoking those kind of emotions from the viewer.

But I like the show because of where the plot puts the characters, the manga also gets intresting because of the location and where the plot leads them. The characters can be pretty unlikable at many times because of how cliche and unreasonably dumb they are to situations. What I hate most is when they do dumb stuff that get themselves killed but survive because PLOT! The action would be better if it made sense, sorry but boobs can't flap faster than a traveling sniper bullet.
FatalSeabass
SAO: Garbage. The characters are completely vapid archetypes that are force fed to followers and see success because they are "cool" and "perfect".Kill la Kill: Mediocre series that tried to cater to a very niche audience of anime viewers.Log Horizon: One of the most boring series I have had the displeasure of watching. Bleach: Two words. Fullbringer Arc. Literally killed the Bleach anime along with hemorrhaging the fanbase. Pointless arc. Bleach hasn't quite seen the high quality it's had since the Soul Society arc. From there, a slow decline happened before a full on downward spiral came along. I just want it to end. I've said it multiple times. Bleach should have ended ages ago. At least with One Piece, there is just so much material left to be explored(characters, plotlines, mysteries, etc). Bleach? Bad guy appears. Bad guy has an evil plan. Ichigo either gets a random powerup or goes through a training arc to beat said villain.

I kinda had this feeling that people tend to watch this series knowing it's bad but watch anyway like a guilty pleasure kind of deal. The thing that gets me though is by adding fanservice and character stereotypes they waste the opportunity to create something more meaningful. High School of the Dead would of been so much better if they would of created complex diverse characters(not all hot women who fit the harem quota). This could of been the anime equivalent of The Walking Dead but for a teenage audience. Both HOTD and SAO are formulaic animes with interesting premises. I just wish the premise was more of the focus not the cliche parts.
13hr
Honestly i d recommend everyone stay away from persona the anime. I know the game has a following and all but the anime is creepy. Its also empty script wise. No real explanation, weak motives, expected plot twists. There is some decent sherlok thinking but the majority is just bad fluff. Certainly not an anime to watch twicr. Even once is too much for me.
Venom
I actually don't know if a lot of people liked it but Deadman Wonderland. I thought the premise of the show was interesting then I just got sick of it. Another show I absolutely despise and I am pretty sure others do as well is Eureka Seven: AO, loved the original series but AO shits on the entire original series. Not looking forward to FLCL Seasons 2/3, again loved the original 4 eps but it was good where it left off and it is going to be so shitty made by another studio and there is no need to add on to the story as it was already wrapped up. SuperMagMan
DEFINITELY Elfen Lied.... sigh...Where do I start. I had heard so much about this series and after watching it on amazon I was left with a severe case of disappointment and confusion. It has potential/good points in it however the show has no idea what the freak it wants to be. At one point you get harem sexual silliness than suddenly a shift to something serious or depressing. I hated every character except for 2 and was baffled by some of the characters choices. A very weird anime to say the least. I read the synopsis about the differences/endings between the manga and anime and was still left with a bad taste in my mouth.

The characters sucked it was so predictable and the action was average at best. I was bored at like episode 8 because its the same thing over and over, I actually love Attack on Titan. I love the characters and action scenes. If you're going to attack people for liking something you dislike, you're an asshole. Besides, they are people that attack others for liking Superman. Squid_Girl
One Piece. Fucking One Piece. I can't recall the last time I stop watching and yelled "STOP MEANDERING AND FUCKING DO SOMETHING!" And this is coming from a fan of Naruto. But whereas Naruto had way too much Filler in it' anime adaptation, One Piece's main plot feels like filler. I read the first 40 volumes and stopped because I got tired of the main cast getting side tracked into EVERY SINGLE STORY ARC! If you like One Piece, more power to you. Glad at least one of us could.

I can see where you're coming from. I liked One Piece at first, but my problem was more that Oda kept expanding the universe without any sign of stopping. In addition to all the new places the Straw Hats will undoubtedly discover, there are now plenty of leftovers: emperors and rivals to fight, dreams to fulfill, characters meant to reappear, ancient weapons to find, revolutionaries to learn more about, the navy to deal with, etc. At the rate it was going, I knew Oda was meaning to make this his life's work. And eventually I couldn't tolerate the length any more. I suppose this sort of thing is to be expected in an adventure manga, but when you're 800+ chapters in, you should be trying to trim away the fat rather than adding more. It's as though Oda is aiming to be the permanent holder of the world record for longest-running shonen manga. I quit around the Water 7 arc, as you did, but I'm still curious enough to keep up loosely.

So much of this. I actually read Naruto from the beginning to the end a while ago, and enjoyed it more than I assumed I would (Shikamaru is cool and all). But to be totally honest, I wouldn't have minded a bit more of "filler" in Naruto manga, some socializing without the feeling of imminent danger/fighting. A breathing room so to say, to deepen the bonds between the characters?

A breathing room so to say, to deepen the bonds between the characters? Oh, that's interesting. Yeah, I see what you mean. Downtime chapters that focus on their friendship/socializing happen in some other manga, like My Hero Academia later on. They're not too long and they're not unwelcome, as they also help flesh out the characters and/or provide useful information. But from what I can tell, a case like Naruto goes overboard with pointless filler arcs and such. The key is the right balance of "downtime" chapters, and also avoiding them feeling pointless.
