I'd really like to see a Legend of Dragoon playthrough. It is a classic game and thus would have to be a downtime game. However it is a pretty good RPG and a good game to "come back to" instead of beating in a single sitting (a one-off). There is a PSN version of the game. I don't believe it ever got a HD remake though so the playthrough would contain "outdated" graphics. Still might be worth a playthrough.

I'd like to see him play Planescape Torment. I know it's an extremely old game, but from what I've heard it's an absolute classic and I never got to play it myself at the time. I think it would be fantastic to go through this story together with DSP.

Also - the older Thief games, which I find to be much much better than the new one.

I bought Torment over 10 years ago, still got the discs lying around somewhere.  I made one attempt to play it but it didn't grab me and I gave up at the first dungeon.  I was much younger then though.

I've heard it repeatedly called "the best game ever".  No qualification, not 'best of it's genre'.  They don't try and push me to play it, they don't sound overly emotional or fanboyish, they say it's the best game like saying the sky is blue.

I'm not sure if that has anything to do with why I haven't played it yet--surely setting the bar that high is going to set me up for disappointment.

I'm not sure Phil would ever play it unless he decides not to read out the dialog.  It's probably one of the most wordy games in existence, like reading a novel.  Pages upon pages of text.  Probably very ill-suited to a let's play.  There are some perfectly good games, particularly older ones with fewer cut-scenes or that view the action from afar, that just don't translate well into the let's play format.

Thief games are up there on my recommended list, though, particularly the first.  Probably the sort of thing he'd make it a patreon goal to urge him to play, though.

I wonder if he even reads this thread, he hasn't commented in it.

1. I'd quite like to see Phil play Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on the Wii. I believe it's backwards compatible with the Wii U.

2. Final Fantasy IX. It has that old school FF setting and I think Phil would really enjoy it. Or possibly FFIV; I remember him saying that he'd like to do it as a future playthrough?

3. Ico HD

4. Returning to Tales of Xillia 2/Tales of Symphonia.

Soul calibur 2 HD is really laggy online plus you can't make lobbies so I don't really see that working.

Anyone know if Phil will be playing Hotline Miami 2 this coming Tuesday? Would love to see a playthrough.

He hasn't played 1 yet supposedly. Given the Indie perk got reached, I don't know why he would not try and knock off Hotline Miami 1 by weekend time(Or by Monday).

I assume quite a few of people would vote for it.

I want him to play To the Moon. ...With full frontal head capture... If you have played this game you will know what I mean. If you haven't... Watch a let's play of it or something. I recommend Markiplier or Cryaotic. Especially Cryaotic. it's a short game. Only four hours... Check the steam page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/206440/

And here's Cryaotic's Let's play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzKf_E1qoNQ

Check it out, please.

I would also like to recommend Okami. Oldie but a goodie. One of the best games I've ever played. A sort of cult classic. You have probably heard of it before, but never played it. If you have never heard of this one, then you are frankly missing out. For this one, if you want to see what's it's all about. watch Cryaotic play it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZvShpi7iPo

Yeah, check this one also. Harder to get into, but... Wow, AMAZING game.

Warning! After you play this game, everything else will be lackluster. I recommend playing this on your deathbed for maximum enjoyment out of your life.

I may dislike DSP, but I still find his reactions (when it's not all ragey of course) genuinely entertaining. Might consider subbing if he plays one of these. And Minecraft too, don't forget Minecraft. Ahh, I do enjoy him playing that game.

If you haven't clicked one of those links already then I cannot convince you otherwise. Goodbye.

Seems the links were busted.  I'm wondering what the amazing game is, now.

I don't think they will happen but I'd love to see Just Cause 2 and Jak 3. Just Cause 2 probably wouldn't even take him that long. The goofiness of it really lends itself to commentary and jokes. If I recall correctly, there are only 7 main missions and they get unlocked through destruction which would be fun to see him do in different types of territories as well as traveling around such a huge world.
