XCX is 404 km^2, while Zelda is around 370 km^2. In XCX you run faster, and using Skells flying and driving around Mira makes the world feel smaller. You'll feel the world is much bigger in Zelda because you move slower compared to XCX. Even wandering on a horse is slower than driving around with a Skell
WorthySquire
Its factually smaller than XCX. Thats all that matters. Plus there will probably be some warp feature in Zelda that will make your wandering point mute anyways. But its quite amazing a Zelda map is going to be that big, but if its just big and mostly empty its going to be quite annoying to manually travel over. The game sounds great but im going to need more incentives than a big Zelda map to buy a Nintendo Switch Day 1.

There's at least going to be plenty of stables around the world where people gather and where you can get the horses you've tamed and registered. I don't think they're going to make the mistakes of previous zelda games where there's nothing in the open world areas.

I'm also hoping Fire Emblem Path of Radiance gets a VC release along with Radiant Dawn, seeing how we're getting so many FE games in the next 2 years. I'm just a little disappointed that they still haven't given up on motion controls. But there are people that like motion controls

Mobility. People are excited about the mobility with Skyrim more than anything.

Veera
I generally prefer the PC but if i decide to buy a current console, it will be the nintendo switch. the Xbone and ps4 are just computers with a locked up environment and no upgrades. it has some minor advantages but those aren't things that i value from a gaming device...meanwhile the switch actually offers me more than that. The things the nintendo switch has to offer are more valuable to me than what any other console offers. portability, interesting exclusives, etc

Nich2440
So I just learned that Skyrim on switch is actually the 2011 version, not the special edition. So the Switch is a 9th generation system with 7th generation hardware. Literally speechless.
Nich2440
So here's my thoughts on the Switch. As a handheld (What it actually is) it's superb. As a console (What they're claiming it is) It's a piece of garbage. From my perspective Nintendo has given up on consoles and is now company that makes portable devices but they're marketing campaigns are spinning it like that's not the case. So, let me get this straight, the Nintendo Switch is both a handheld device and video game console. Wow, that's something you don't see everyday. The sad thing though is if they market it as a console I have to criticize it as one because as I said above the biggest game it has is a 2011 release which means it has no upgrades from the Wii U. Funny, IMO the last time Nintendo made good consoles were the Gamecube and Wii (IMO at least).
