The reward for 100%, over 800 fucking collectables, is the same final boss with a different background and one extra attack before he goes down. you also get a bunch of worthless crap like a postcard and 5 seconds of fireworks. Even if you could argue that's it's a handheld with an HDMI out, the fact that I can literally pick it up out the dock and take it with me to work is great. My PS4 barely even gets a look in these days. Sadly it's nothing more than a YouTube machine these days. The only obstacle would be getting Nier to run at a consistent 60 fps. Platinum games had to drastically dial back the graphics in the PS4 and Shitbox versions prior to release in order to get 60 FPS reliably. In my opinion Nier would have to get too watered down to run natively on a switch. It would be a perfect game to “stream” to the switch though but Nintendo has kept streaming titles confined to Japan for now.
